Guarantee Summary (Subject to the relevant Ts and Cs)

Cover is restricted to cost of replacement or reimbursement of BMI supplied waterproofing materials (excluding labour costs) if water penetrates the roof as a result of a failure to manufacture the product in accordance with the applicable standard as set out in the relevant BMI TDS and supporting documentation.

Cover is restricted to cost of replacement or reimbursement of BMI supplied materials including labour costs to reinstate the waterproofing materials as well as any installed roof system that maybe damaged as a consequence if water penetrates the roof as a result of a failure to manufacture the product in accordance with the applicable standard as set out in relevant BMI TDS and supporting documentation or defective design by BMI. If the water penetration is determined to be caused by a workmanship issue the BMI-approved contractor is responsible for reinstating the waterproof covering as well as any installed roof system that maybe damaged as a consequence at their cost. If the contractor has ceased trading as at the date of claim the workmanship cover terminates.

Cover is restricted to the cost of repair or replacement, at BMI's option, of the waterproofing materials of the installed roof system together with any direct damage to the building fabric and contents if water penetrates the roof as a result of a failure to manufacture the product in accordance with the applicable standard as set out in relevant BMI TDS and supporting documentation or defective design by BMI. If the water penetration is determined to be caused by a workmanship issue the BMI-approved contractor is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement, at our option, of the waterproofing integrity of the installed roof system together with any direct damage to the building fabric and contents. If the contractor has ceased trading as at the date of claim the same workmanship cover transfers to BMI. Damage/loss to the building fabric and its contents and financial losses are covered up to limits specified below if caused by the water penetration of the roof.
