Canopia ST Wildflower Mat System

The Canopia ST Wildflower Mat System provides a wildflower meadow to encourage a diverse range of flora and fauna with instant plant coverage, and is suitable for use on specified Icopal root-resistant flat roof waterproofing systems.

  • The use of a pre-grown wildflower mat provides instant plant coverage

  • Having different species creates a range of flowering colours and leaf forms

  • The varied range of plant species provides nectar and pollen sources for a wide variety of invertebrates

  • Wildflower species are able to grow in shallow, low nutrient substrates making them an excellent choice for roof locations

  • The pre grown wildflower mat covers the whole surface of the growing substrate, thereby reducing the opportunity for unwanted weed growth

Canopia Protection Fleece 300 is used as a separation and protection layer to reduce any point loadings on the waterproofing membrane that sits below it.

Canopia Drainage Board 20 is used as a water reservoir and drainage board.

Canopia Fliter Fleece 105 is used as a filter fleece to reduce the amount of fines particles reaching the drainage layer, and as a separation layer betwen pebble borders and the growing substrate.

Canopia Extensive Substrate is blended growing medium designed to provide a balance of water retention and drainage to create the ideal root environment for succesful plant growth.

Canopia Wildflower Mat includes a range of carefully chosen UK native provenance wildflower and grass species to flower over a prolonged period. Used to provide instant plant cover on an extensive green roof.

Canopia Washed Pebbles (20-40mm) are natural aggregates used to improve drainage flow rates around green roof details and create vegetation free borders and firebreaks.
