Mineral shingles are made of the following materials:

  • SAND: is the aggregate

  • CEMENT: it is the glue

  • OXIDE: is the dye

  • SHAPE: very simple, it is extruded longitudinally

The Wierer mineral tile is a technically very advanced product, made of a conglomerate of sand, cement and colored oxide and has the following characteristics:

  • measures 33.3 cm wide x 42 cm long (excluding COPPO TITAN) for 1 square meter of coverage are needed - about 10 pieces depending on the overlap adopted

  • the weight varies from 4.1 to 5.25 kg depending on the model and the chosen surface
the body of the tile is entirely colored in the mixture with iron oxides

  • the surface can have different levels of finish with different aesthetic effects: smooth, orange peel, granulated, antiqued, elegance, prestige and also protector

  • BMI Italia offers the range of Wierer mineral roof tiles in 6 different models in multiple colors

The production process of a concrete tile includes 5 phases:

  1. procurement of raw materials

  2. mix of raw materials

  3. shaping of the tile in the molds

  4. definition of the tile surface

  5. packaging

A drying period of the product is also included before the final packaging phase, but also afterwards.

A concrete tile is kept in the yard for a certain period of time before being marketed.
