Install photovoltaic on the roof

Install a photovoltaic system on your roof and related maintenance: when and where it is possible to do it

How to install photovoltaic panels on the roof and produce energy

It is an incentive mechanism that remunerates electricity from photovoltaic systems connected to the grid. The system guarantees a secure income lasting 20 years for those who install and produce electricity from photovoltaic solar panels, with high incentives that make it possible to transform the initial expense into a real investment.

Photovoltaic systems only require simple periodic cleaning. In fact, the panels are resistant to hail, salt, rain, wind and snow and do not require any special maintenance. Between BMI Italia's solar photovoltaic systems and common housing systems there is maximum compatibility.

In order to install a photovoltaic system, it is sufficient to have space on the roof or on the terrace to install the solar panels, orienting them towards the sun. The photovoltaic modules must be exposed as much as possible to the south and without elements that could create shadow areas (chimneys, skylights, etc.)

The production of the photovoltaic solar plant is related to the nominal power, the geographical area and the positioning with respect to the sun. For example, 1 kWp well exposed in Central Italy produces on average about 1,300 kWh per year.

The Electricity Service Operator (GSE) plays a central role in promoting renewable sources in Italy.

The sole shareholder of the GSE is the Ministry of Economy and Finance which exercises the rights of the shareholder in agreement with the Ministry of Economic Development. The GSE manages, as Implementing Entity, the incentive system for the production of electricity from photovoltaic panel systems as part of the Energy Account.
