This presentation is designed to provide a basic foundation to the understanding of pitched roof systems, providing an overview of the basic terminology and an understanding of the materials, design and application of a pitched roof installation.
Defects in Pitched Roofing
Defects in Pitched Roofing looks in detail at the requirements of relevant Codes of Practice and their implementation in the installation of a pitched roof system. Both good and bad examples of pitched roofing will be shown to illustrate the need to properly design, specify and supervise the installation of a high quality system.
Control of Condensation in Pitched and Flat Roofs
This seminar looks at the essential considerations that must be given to prevent condensation within the roofspace – the largest contributor being proper ventilation tailored to the needs of the property. Ventilation methods are discussed with illustrations of both good and poor examples.
