How to successfully create a new post on Contentful

Web post creation on Contentful
Creating, uploading and publishing new articles within Contentful is very simple and quick. The platform is user-friendly and the editing tool is particularly intuitive.
In order to create contents that are consistent with those already published in terms of graphic format, structure and usability, however, it is advisable to follow some common steps that are quickly and exhaustively illustrated in the next videos.

This is not the title and it will not be shown in the page to final users.
Always make sure to insert the title that you want to be shown in the "Title" area

Unlike what happens for the "Name" section, this is the title that will be effectively displayed to final users.

1. Add the title of this section in the description area and select "Heading 2"
NB: it's important that you add the title that you want to be displayed in the description area because the titles in the "title" area is for internal use and won't be displayed.
2. It's possible to use only Heading 2 and 5 in the description area

It's important to always insert a subtitle in order not to have a blank space right under the title (if possible between 100 and 250 characters).

Make sure that the name of the main image of the article contains the keyword you chose for that content.
Always insert the name of the image (with the keyword in it) in the "Alternative text" section.

If you choose to use an image that already exists in Contentful, make sure to use it as it is and don't make changes.
If the image already exists it's probably because it's already included in an other page: if you make changes to the image or the asset, the changes will be seen also in the other pages where that asset is included.
