Course Content
- Identifying potential hazards – hazards to be removed, reduced, or reported
- Implications of exposure to hazardous substances and hazards.
- Drawing up a health and safety plan.
- Protective clothing requirements.
- Statutory requirements.
- Location of fire extinguishers, hoses, and alarms.
- Identifying fire extinguishers type – and correct use.
- Procedures for the identification of emergencies.
- Reporting injuries involving individuals to the relevant persons.
- Procedures for reporting and recording.
- Procedures to be followed if an injury may lead to a claim against workman's compensation.
- Incident report – written and delivered to the relevant authority from the staff member/s and stored safely

Assessment and Certification
