We’re making some changes

Following the coming together of roofing industry leaders Monier Redland Limited and Icopal Limited, under the BMI umbrella brand for pitched and flat roofing systems manufactured in the United Kingdom; we are taking steps to evolve our business.


We’re making some changes to the way our legal entities are structured in order to simplify how we transact with our customers, this is supported by the development and implementation of a new ERP business management software. The purpose of this communication is to provide our customers with information related to these changes.


As a customer of Monier Redland Limited and/or Icopal Limited, in the future, your engagement will be with BMI Group UK Limited. For your planning purposes, this change is targeted to take place at the end of the first quarter this year.


We will work with you to ensure a smooth transition as we evolve certain aspects of our order, sales and invoicing processes. We will continue to operate as per our normal course of business with you until the changes are made at the end of the quarter.


We will continue to update this customer support page with helpful information and updates related to the changes that we are making.

  • Why is the legal entity structure being changed? 

    We are making some changes to the way our legal entities are structured in order to simplify how we transact with our customers and suppliers. 

  • When will the changes be implemented?
    We will continue to operate as per our normal course of business with you until the changes are made effective in at the end of the first quarter this year. 
  • Will there be any changes to our daily interactions with our BMI/Monier Redland/ Icopal contacts? 
    Engagements and interactions with your BMI Monier Redland and BMI Icopal contacts will not change. 
  • Do I need to take any action? 
    Yes. Although we will continue to operate as per our normal course of business with you until the changes are made effective in 2021; your dedicated BMI account manager will be in touch to arrange a meeting with you and guide you through the changes that we are making and help you prepare for changes to certain aspects of our order, sales and invoicing processes. 
  • Will my pricing change for 2021? 

    Monier Redland Limited and Icopal Limited issued price increase notifications in 2020 effective on the following dates:

    BMI Monier Redland 1st February 2021

    BMI Icopal 1st March 2021

  • Will my rebate change as a result of this communication? 

    Rebates are reviewed on an annual basis and they will remain brand specific (Redland or Icopal) for 2021. Rebate conversations will be taking place until the end of February.
